The European Citizen Action Service (ECAS), the lead organization of the “Triple A for citizens” project, which is implemented in the framework of FPA projects and financed by the EU, held a round table in Brussels from 22-23 February, 2015, titled “Quality Standards in Provision of Information, Advice and Legal Aid to Citizens”. Roundtable participants were partners of the project, representatives of non-governmental organizations from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Turkey, Serbia, Ireland and the United Kingdom. The theme of the round table is dedicated to raising and ensuring quality of the provision of information, advice and legal assistance to citizens by NGOs. Successful models from the UK were presented, which has a long history of providing advice and legal assistance to citizens in different areas. Participants were also introduced to the principles of quality assurance applied by “Your Advice Service of the European Commission”.
