As part of the project activities, the Association for Democratic Initiatives has prepared and published a short publication entitled The Role of Civil Society Organizations in Monitoring the Implementation of the Justice Sector Reform Strategy (JSRS) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which provides insight into the different types of more active involvement of civil society organizations in the JSRS implementation process.
In the first part of the text, the publication provides a brief overview of the JSRS, its strategic objectives, the mandate of the institutions responsible for the implementation of the JSRS, as well as the oversight of the implementation of the assigned measures. The second part of the publication provides an overview of the activities implemented so far, as well as an assessment of the problems encountered by the institutions responsible for implementing the measures set out in the JSRS. The last chapter describes the role of civil society organizations and how they are more actively involved in monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the JSRS.
