The Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, with the support of the OSCE, held a workshop to produce a report on the human rights situation in BiH. The workshop was held on March 15 and 16, 2012 at Jahorina, the Board Hotel.

The workshop was attended by about 60 participants, representatives of the executive and judicial authorities at the state, entity and cantonal levels responsible for the implementation and monitoring of public policies in the field of human rights. Participants at the workshop presented the work of their institutions within the competencies related to the Annual Report on Human Rights, and submitted data to the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH for the preparation of the Human Rights Report in BiH for 2011.

Elma Demir, representative of the Justice Network, participated at the workshop and submitted to the UPR recommendations of the Justice Network for 2011-2012 to the organizer, which will be considered for inclusion in the Annual Report on Human Rights in BiH for 2011. It was agreed that the Justice Network should also submit its formal contribution for the said Report through the consultation process that will be organized by the Ministry in April 2012.
