Within the project “FightING against hate speech and hate crimes”, the Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI) has the opportunity to hire a legal advisor / lawyer for victims of hate crime from February to December2015.

The legal advisor / lawyer will work during the 11 months of project implementation. Given that the amount of money is limited, assistance will be given in selected cases where it is most needed. Representing the victim in court and writing the necessary court filings will be a priority.

ADI will also provide online counseling that will be available every day. Online counseling will include:

• Providing information to the victim / witness where and how the hate crime can be reported,
• What are the legal remedies in the case of hate crime,
• What are the mandated institutions that are responsible for protecting human rights.

The Legal Advisor / Lawyer will be hired with the financial assistance of the International Organization for the Protection of Human Rights Civil Rights Defenders.
