Association for Democratic Initiatives, in cooperation with the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Republika Srpska, is implementing a project titled: “Restoring Civic Mission of Education – Window of Opportunity for Change”. The main aim of the project is to decrease the impact of the lack of systematic post-conflict peace and reconciliation work among the conflict sites through reinforcing the civic mission of education in BiH. The target groups of the project are students, teachers, and educational institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Main activities of the project are: meetings with stakeholders, target groups and beneficiaries in Podrinje, Posavina, Central Bosnia, Krajina and Herzegovina, consultation meetings, three study visits to Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro, 5 three-day training sessions for teachers, 2 travelling schools for peace, advocacy as well as promotion and outreach activities.
Implementation period of the project: May 22, 2017 – May 21, 2020
