Through the project “Involving Civil Society Organizations in the Process of Monitoring of Implementation of Justice Sector Reform Strategy of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI) Sarajevo, supported by the British Embassy in Sarajevo, wanted to encourage and support non-governmental organizations, civic groups, professional associations, trade unions, think tanks, academies and medias in Bosnia Herzegovina to develop their knowledge and capacity to actively participate in the monitoring of the implementation of the Strategy.

Justice Sector Reform Strategy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with the accompanying Action Plan for the Implementation of the Justice Sector Reform Strategy, represent an overall strategic framework for planning and implementation of reform activities in five key areas of the justice sector: judiciary, execution of criminal sanctions, access to justice, support to economic growth, coordination, governance and accountability of the justice sector – that will be finished until 2012.
