Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI) and the Centres for Civic Initiatives (CCI), with the financial support of the British Embassy, ​​have produced a case study “The Importance of an Analytical Approach to the Formulation of Public Policies and Regulations in the Justice Sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina“. Since BiH NGOs Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI) and Centres for Civic Initiatives (CCI) have been monitoring the implementation of segments of the BiH Justice Sector Reform Strategy for the third year, they have repeatedly recognized the lack of interest of government representatives in addressing the need to overcome the problem of underdeveloped capacities to create and analyze public policies in institutions across BiH. Based on the formal requirements of the mentioned strategies (the Public Administration Reform Strategy and the BiH Justice Sector Reform Strategy (JSRS)), as well as the Action Plans for the implementation of the mentioned two strategies, which clearly set out the objectives for establishing capacity for creation and analysis of public policy, ADI and CCI have opted for the study of the importance of the analytical approach in formulating public policies and regulations in the justice sector in BiH.
