On December 8, 2016, the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as part of its activities to mark International Human Rights Day, in the Great Hall of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, held a conference titled „Where the hate speech starts – freedom of speech ends“.

The focus of the conference was hate speech and hate crime in BiH. In panel 2, representative of the Association for Democratic Initiatives presented the work of the Coalition for combat against hate speech and hate crime. The conference brought together representatives of BiH institutions, international community, and civil society organizations.
