On September 14, 2017, the Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI), in the Hotel „Grand“ in Sarajevo, held a roundtable on the topic “Hate Crime and Hate Speech”. The aim of the roundtable was to strengthen participants’ capacity to, in an adequate manner, identify, monitor, act and report on hate speech and hate crime.

Representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as educational institutions, expressed their concern over the increasingly present hate speech in all spheres of society, and discussed the challenges, ways and modalities of preventing this problem within the scope of their work.

The roundtable was held within the project “Fighting against Hate Speech and Hate Crimes”.
