On Thursday, April 16, 2009, at the premises of Mediacentar Sarajevo, promotion of the publication “Strengthening the Role of Professional Associations in the Judiciary in Bosnia and Herzegovina” was done within the JUP-BiH project. The promoters were Mr. Faris Vehabović, thematic editor of the publication and legal advisor and lecturer within the project, as well as the author of one of the articles, Ms. Sabina Đapo in front of the British Embassy in Sarajevo, which financially supported the implementation of the JUP-BiH project, Ms. Snježana Ivandić, Executive Director of the Association for Democratic Initiatives Sarajevo and Aida Vežić, editors of the publication and authors of the article, and Mr. Adnan Novo, representative of one of the professional associations and author of the article.

The promoters presented the importance of the publication, the process of its preparation and publication within the project. There were over 20 representatives of various professional associations, the NGO Your Rights, the Human Rights Center of the University of Sarajevo, the FBiH Judicial and Prosecutorial Training Center, an employee of the BiH MoJs, and other colleagues. All those present expressed positive feedback about the publication and envisaged its widespread use.
