On March 16, 2012, Sarajevo hosted the “Thematic Conference on Reducing the Fragmentation of Judicial Financing in the Federation of BiH”. The conference discussed various aspects of the fragmented financing of the judiciary in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) and options for overcoming this problem.
Participants raised a number of questions regarding the financing and functioning of the judiciary, focusing on possible solutions for creating the conditions for a single judicial budget at the FBiH level.
The conference was organized by the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPC BiH), with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Justice Sector Development Project (JSDP).
