The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Working Group, with the support of the United Nations Development Program of Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNDP), is inviting you to a one-day conference/consultation to develop a Strategy for establishing an enabling environment for the development of sustainable civil society in Bosnia and Herzegovina on December 07, 2011 (Wednesday) starting at 09.00 AM at the Hollywood Hotel in Ilidža.

These are initial broader consultations, and the plan is to have additional consultations. We hope that networks and organizations, in accordance with their capacities, will organize sectoral and regional consultations in order to make a significant contribution to the preparation of very important civil society strategies.

The working group preparing the strategy consists of 10 persons, 5 of which are representatives of the institutions (state l, entities, and Brčko District), and 5 representatives of the networks of civil society organizations (Justice Network, Agreement Plus, Volunteer Network, Network for Building Peace and NGO Council).

Please confirm your participation by sending an email to goran.bubalo@crs.org by Monday, December 5th, 2011 until 12h noon.

The UNDP covers the cost of refreshments/food, travel and accommodation costs are not covered. We hope that you will recognize the importance of this strategy and contribute to this or subsequent consultations, because it is in the interest of all of us.
