On September 17 and 18, 2012, the BiH Parliamentary Assembly and the FBiH Parliament hosted the CSO Parliamentary Database Conference and the Fair of Civil Society Organizations, organized by the USAID’s Parliamentary Strengthening Project in BiH and the Association for Democratic Initiatives Sarajevo.

The two-day event was attended by a large number of participants – individuals active in non-governmental organizations, civic groups, professional associations, as well as a large number of MPs from both Parliaments (BiH and FBiH).

During the Civil Society Fair, NGO representatives had the opportunity to meet and contact directly representatives of the BiH PA and to exchange views and experiences in the practice of the legislative process. The attendees were also addressed by Nermina Ćemalović, Deputy Chair of the Delegation of the BiH PA to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
