On February 4, 2014, the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina organized consultations on the Draft Law on Free Legal Aid in BiH.

The consultation was attended by members of the Common Policy Forum (Ministry of Justice of BiH and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH), which was formed with the aim of achieving better coordination of policy advancements and accelerating the development of reforms in the justice sector, as well as four NGOs, members of the Justice Network (Association for Democratic Initiatives, Foundation for Local Democracies, Association Vaša prava BiH, Association of Judges of BiH), signatories of the letter of commitment to the Common Policy Forum, committing themselves to work together on the adoption and implementation of the Law on Free Legal Aid in BiH. Representatives of the Cantonal Free Legal Aid Offices and representatives of the Republika Srpska Free Legal Aid Center and representatives of the JSDP II also participated.

The attendees were addressed by Mr. Srđan Radulj, Deputy Minister of Justice of BiH, Ms. Milana Popadić, Assistant Minister of Justice of BiH, and Mr. Niko Grubešić, Assistant Minister of Justice of BiH, and Elmerina Ahmetaj Hrelja and Muhamed Sušić, USAID JSDP II representatives.
