In 2018, as in previous years, ADI will continue to organize project activities – round tables, info sessions, trainings, as well as monitoring of trials for hate crimes. Target groups this year, as in previous years, are primarily returnees and displaced persons, women, Roma, LGBT people, people with disabilities. Through the implementation of project activities, citizens will be better informed about the causes and consequences of hate crimes in their communities, and what are the measures that need to be taken to reduce the number of these crimes. Also, the project will contribute to increase of the capacity of law students and journalists, non-governmental organizations, women, local authorities and citizens to monitor and report on hate crimes adequately.

Implementation period of the project: January 01, 2018 – December 31, 2018

The project is being implemented since 2013 with the support of the international organization for the protection of human rights, the Civil Rights Defenders.
