Considering that BiH citizens do not have a high degree of confidence in the work of the prosecutor’s offices and that they receive most of the information through the media, which is not always sufficiently objective and accurate. Then, the closed offices of some prosecutor’s offices, the lack of information on how and when citizens should and can contact the prosecutor’s offices, the lack of unified information in one place was the reason for the creation of a Brochure for citizens. The Brochure explains in a clear and informative way the role of the prosecution, how citizens can contact prosecutor’s offices, how to report the crime, the rights and obligations of the applicants, who can be a witness, who can be a suspect. The Brochure and short films were realized as part of the project “Strengthening Public Trust in Prosecutorial System in BiH through Improving Transparency and Accountability”.

The project is being implemented by Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI) Sarajevo and the Association of Expert Associates and Advisers in Courts and Prosecutors’ Offices in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
