Discrimination in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a widespread phenomenon, but a very small number of citizens can recognize discrimination. The reasons are multiple and one of them is that citizens are unable to recognize discrimination and to separate it from similar phenomena. Persons with disabilities, persons belonging to national minorities and women are most often discriminated, and the most common grounds for discrimination are religious and ethnic origin and sexual orientation.
